



Gaana Surabhi
Gaana Surabhi is the music school founded by Vidushi Smt. Ramya Praveen. Inspired by the belief that music has the innate potential to transform people for the better, the school imparts both music education and value-based learning. Students at the school range from young children to college students and professionals. They begin their musical journey with the fundamentals and have successfully appeared in examinations, participated in various competitions, recorded songs, and showcased their talents on various platforms.

Teaching


Vidushi Smt. Ramya Praveen has been committed to teaching Carnatic music from the past 8 or 9 years, working with students of all age groups, from 5 to 70 years. Several of her students have gone one to appear for music examinations and competitions, and some are now preparing to showcase their talent on stage.
Vidushi Smt. Ramya believes that the importance of music and its various aspects should be spread far and wide, making the entire society aware of its divine nature. Looking ahead, she wants to pursue advanced academic research in music exploring various dimensions of Carnatic music and its evolving role in contemporary times. Vidushi Smt. Ramya Praveen strongly feels that music is has a vital role in spiritual upliftment of the soul and that it leads us away from mundane and dreary existence.
